If at first you don't succeed, immediately turn around and try again. We can all learn a lot from this predatory bird. It was swooping down to try and grab some dinner, and even though it messed up on its first attempt, it quickly forgot about its mistake and immediately went back to make things right. That's how you power through adversity. By the way, the bird you'll see in the clip below is a grey-headed fish eagle. They are usually found in Southeast Asia, and live near bodies of water. Can you guess what type of food they generally seek out? If you made the educated guess of "fish," way to use your context clues. You'd be correct. That's what I love about bird names. If you are looking at a bird that has a red head with a ring pattern around its neck, chances are that's bird's actual name is a red-headed ringneck. Or something like that... you know what I'm saying. When you watch the video of the eagle below, you'll realize why this one is called a grey-headed fish eagle. Bird names keep things simple. The situation that this hawk found itself in was anything but simple. A rather routine dive down just above the water to scoop out a fish got more complicated when it completely whiffed. Rather than flying off and regrouping, the grey-headed eagle promptly threw on the brakes - in mid-air - and went right back at it. And it's a good thing that it did, because the it ended up flying right into a 3-for-1 deal. As you'll see, the fish eagle lived up to its name and snatched not one, not two, but three fish out of the water at once and flew off with them. Though they aren't the biggest catches, I'm sure they did the trick for this eagle's dinner time. Check it out: https://www.instagram.com/p/C_YSZPoBIn8/
