Jackson Purchase Distillery, one of Kentucky’s rapidly growing distilleries, is expanding its reach by establishing a new corporate office in Louisville, bringing its presence to the heart of the state’s famed Bourbon District. Louisville Office Opening Soon

The new corporate office is set to open by the end of the year in the Ice House building located at 217 East Main Street in downtown Louisville. This new space will be a central hub for Jackson Purchase’s business operations, including hosting meetings, private tastings, and serving clients such as bourbon investors and other distilleries that use Jackson Purchase whiskey for their own branded products.

With the establishment of this office, Jackson Purchase will not only gain a strategic location in Louisville's bustling Bourbon District, but it will also provide a home base for the company’s executive leadership. The Louisville office marks a significant milestone for the distillery, showcasing its ongoing efforts to increase its footprint in the bourbon industry.

Industry Veteran Joins Jackson Purchase Team

In addition to the new office, Jackson Purchase Distillery has bolstered its leadership team with the addition of Michael Creech as Director of Contract Sales. Creech brings nearly two decades of experience in the Kentucky spirits industry, having spent the majority of his career with Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC), the second-largest spirits distributor in the United States.

During his time at RNDC, Creech played a key role in growing the company’s on-premise sales in Kentucky, helping the division gain over 50 percent of the market share. His experience in the industry, especially during bourbon’s resurgence in popularity, positions him perfectly to help Jackson Purchase Distillery expand its customer base and market reach.

Creech is particularly excited about his new role, noting that the quality of Jackson Purchase’s bourbon immediately stood out to him. “I’ve tasted a lot of whiskey, and I knew even from the first smell that this was something special,” said Creech. “You can tell from the quality that they’re doing things the way they should be done, and investing in the things that make a difference.”

Creech’s experience in the bourbon industry aligns well with the expertise of Jackson Purchase’s other key figures, such as Master Distiller Craig Beam and Assistant Master Distiller Terry Ballard. Together, this team will drive Jackson Purchase forward as they continue to craft high-quality bourbon and expand their presence in the market.

    Continuous Growth and Expansion

Jackson Purchase Distillery has been on a fast track since its founding in 2021, and the opening of the Louisville office is just the latest chapter in the company’s success story. Earlier this year, the distillery added a second 36-inch column still, significantly increasing its production capacity. Currently, the distillery is capable of producing 60,000 barrels of bourbon annually, and to date, it has produced and is storing more than 70,000 barrels for its customers.

In addition to ramping up production, Jackson Purchase has also been expanding its physical footprint at its main facility in Hickman, Kentucky. In August, Kentucky Lt. Governor Jacqueline Coleman visited the distillery to officially open a new 25,000-barrel rick house on-site. The company is already in the process of constructing a second rick house, which will further enhance its storage capacity as it continues to meet growing demand.

Jackson Purchase Distillery’s CEO, Lloyd Jones, expressed his enthusiasm for the distillery’s recent milestones, stating, “It’s an incredible time for Jackson Purchase Distillery. We’re excited about all our new facilities in Hickman and Louisville, and we’re thrilled that Michael’s experience and relationships will help us share our great product with entirely new customers.”

    Business of the Year Award

In recognition of its remarkable growth and contributions to the local economy, Jackson Purchase Distillery was named Business of the Year by the Hickman Chamber of Commerce. The award ceremony took place on October 22nd, further solidifying the distillery’s reputation as a key player in the region’s bourbon industry.

    About Jackson Purchase Distillery

Founded in 2021, Jackson Purchase Distillery operates as a contract distiller based in Hickman, Kentucky. The distillery focuses on producing high-quality Kentucky bourbon using locally sourced grains and calcium-rich well water, a crucial ingredient in crafting authentic bourbon. The company offers new-fill barrels for sale to craft brands, distilleries in need of additional capacity, and businesses that purchase barrels for third-party sales.

Master Distiller Craig Beam and Assistant Master Distiller Terry Ballard, both industry veterans, lead the distilling process, ensuring that the company maintains its commitment to producing exceptional whiskey. The distillery’s ability to store and produce tens of thousands of barrels each year has made it a go-to resource for brands looking to grow their own bourbon lines.

    Final Thoughts

Jackson Purchase Distillery is poised to become a major player in the Kentucky bourbon industry, and the opening of its new Louisville office is a key step in expanding its influence. With Michael Creech joining the team and bringing his wealth of experience, the company is set to reach new heights in contract distilling and bourbon sales. Combined with its rapidly growing production capabilities and continued recognition for excellence, Jackson Purchase is proving that it’s a distillery to watch in the bourbon world.

As the bourbon industry continues to thrive, Jackson Purchase Distillery is well-positioned to play a significant role in meeting the demand for quality Kentucky whiskey, both through its own production and through partnerships with other brands. The future looks bright for this young distillery as it continues to make waves in the bourbon community.
