Interstate 80 WB Shut Down for Hours Following Crash
I-80 westbound was shut down for several hours yesterday following a propane tank truck accident. State police say the truck, occupied by two people drove over an embankment and overturned on the westbound side of the highway at Mile Marker 226 around 11:30 a.m. I-80 westbound was closed for most of the day with a detour set up at the Buckhorn exit. The two people inside the propane truck were not seriously injured.
Clinton County cocaine dealer sentenced to decade of incarceration
Lock Haven, Pa. — Vincent Anthony Riggs-Mauck of Lock Haven was sentenced for selling large quantities of cocaine in Clinton County throughout 2023. Riggs-Mauck happened to sell some of that cocaine to investigators with the Pennsylvania State Police. Tuesday, Riggs-Mauck was sentenced to 10 years incarceration at a state correctional institution, despite requests from his counsel to serve a much shorter sentence. BLOOMSBURG – The Bloomsburg Area YMCA is about to start a free ‘Learn to Swim’ program for children in second grade. The head of the Y, Wayne Stump said the new program is being offered in memory of Kathy Musser, a long time Bloomsburg elementary school teacher.

The area’s finest minor leaguers aged 7-10 recently gathered at our magnificent complex off State Route 973. Massive crowds traveled some 50 miles to Cogan Station to witness many spectacular performances and stellar plays. We welcomed teams from Jersey Shore, Muncy, WALL, South Williamsport, Hughesville, Loyalsock, Montgomery, and Montoursville. Several fans pitched their tents to beat the heat. Two weeks of exciting baseball. The who’s who of Lycoming County spent a great deal of time at our little cornfield in the 17728. Our concession stand is the best in Pennsylvania, and folks even came back after their teams were eliminated. Our little tournament is a summertime staple, and it continues to bring out our best.

"We take donations the last week of every single month. Drivers near Danville may experience delays Thursday
Drivers traveling through the Danville River Bridge (Route 54) on Thursday may encounter delays as a PennDOT crew performs bridge flushing. There will be alternating lane restrictions while work is being performed between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The bridge connects Danville Borough in Montour County to Riverside Borough in Northumberland County. WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — Officers with the Williamsport Bureau of Police are sworn "to protect and serve." And every day, they respond to many different emergencies- including calls dealing with a mental health crisis. Now, the bureau is implementing a mental health co-responder model. Officers will team up with a mental health professional to better respond to those calls.
