Betty A. “Betz” Schriner, 87, of Muncy, Pa died Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville. Betty was the wife of Paul R. Schriner, and they were married on July 4, 1956, on the Fenstermaker farm in Lairdsville, where she grew up. Paul died on September 11, 2020, being married to Betz for 65 years.

Driver identified in fatal Woodward Township accident
The driver who died Tuesday morning when his tri-axle logging truck went off Route 220 and landed in heavy brush in Woodward township, just south of the city line, was identified as William Mundy, of Avis, and investigators have determined that the 61-year-old Clinton County man died of natural causes, according to Lycoming County Coroner Charles E.
