FARGO – Late in the regular season, clutch hits were all too rare for the Jamestown Eagles. On Monday, two clutch hits helped the Eagles to a state tournament win. Bennett Goehner hit a go-ahead RBI single in the top of the seventh inning Monday and Jamestown edged Dickinson 6-5 in the opening game of the AA American Legion State Tournament at Starion Bank Field.

Assault Reported At State Fair Lil Wayne Concert
(Minot, ND) — The Ward County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an assault at the North Dakota State Fair in Minot. Authorities say it happened last Wednesday on the north side of the standing-room area during Lil Wayne’s performance. There’s no word on any suspects or arrests, and investigators want to speak with anyone who witnessed the assault. The sky’s the limit for the Fargo Airsho
(KFGO) – Fargo AirSho 2024 is now history. There were thousands of attendees for two days of the AirSho at Hector International Airport. The event included the return of the Navy’s Blue Angles. It also included daring pilots and powerful planes. AirSho Co-chairman Steve Blazek said the AirSho was “incredible” and they have never had that many people fill the airfield.
Fargo PD search for missing man
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - The Fargo Police Department says, it’s asking for your help in finding a missing man. 67-year-old Richard Folden was last seen in the 2700 Block of 32nd Ave. S, on July 27 at 9:15 p.m. He’s described as 5′7″ and 210 lbs. with gray hair and brown eyes. Officials say, Folden was last seen wearing a hospital gown, purple pants, and red/pink shoes.
Motorcyclist Killed In Collision With Deer Identified
(Velva, ND) — Authorities have identified the motorcyclist who died in a collision with a deer near Velva last week as Davis Franklin. He was 58-years-old and lived in Karlsruhe. Investigators say the crash happened on 45th Street North, and Franklin was thrown from his bike. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
