TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - The City of Tyler says they are on schedule to complete their Water Line Survey, searching for lead service lines. City Utilities Director Katie Dietz says they’ve checked 27,000 meters in the City so far, with inventory expected to be complete by the end of August.

Tyler City Council makes moves to help city repair from storm damage
On Wednesday, Tyler City Council approved two requests to help the city further recover and clean up after the storms. A third-party firm will now help the city apply for FEMA assistance that will go toward storm damage. Another company will be helping the city remove and dispose of about 9,000 cubic yards of debris as well as provide other emergency debris-related services.
The Wilcox building in downtown Tyler transformed into apartments
The historic Wilcox building sat abandoned and deteriorating for decades, creating an eyesore for passersby downtown. Today, it has been redeveloped into 31 luxury apartments.
