The patrolman was able to take the driver into custody, but the passenger of the vehicle fled on foot. White Pine Police K-9 Rocky tracked down the passenger, and both suspects were taken into custody, police said.

White Pine Police identified the two suspects as Ethan Hickey, 28, and James Price, 22, and said both have numerous warrants from the Morristown Police Department and the Hamblen County Sheriff’s Office. They were taken to the Hamblen County Jail.

Deputies with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office also assisted with the apprehension, Police said.

“We would like to give a shout out to Joshua’s Tire. The stolen vehicle had a tire that was flat and the owner of the truck showed up to pick it up and Josh and his crew fixed the tire free of charge,” White Pine Police added.
