The Repertory productions are Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” and the 1677 Restoration comedy, “The Rover, or the Banish’d Cavaliers,” by Aphra Benn. The actors in this year’s class are strong talents, and we can expect to see them trodding the boards at STC and other top theatres in no time. With few exceptions, they prove to be exceptional performers. That said, the two shows selected for the Academy Summer Repertory have a few issues.
