USD Law School Announces 2024-2025 Student Board Members for Three Organizations
Alternative Dispute Resolution, Moot Court and the South Dakota Law Review give students opportunities to develop and refine skills and gain experience during law school. RAPID CITY, S.D. - Rapid City teen artist Santana L. Twiss will be showcased in the upcoming Emerging Visual Artists (EVA) exhibition at the Dahl Arts Center. Her exhibit opens on August 1 and will be on view in the Dahl’s Bruce H. Lien Cultural Café & Gallery until September 26, 2024. An artist reception and meet-and-greet will take place on August 1 from 5-7 p.m.

CANOVA — Flandreau topped the Hartford/Humboldt Gamecocks and advanced to the Class B state amateur baseball tournament on Thursday. Flandreau’s Zak Wallner struck out eight batters, allowed seven hits, one earned run and walked three batters in the 6.1-inning start. The Cardinals finished with 10 hits, including two apiece from Keith Cutler, Jacolby Anderson, Austin Koenig and Luke Gassman. Anderson drove in two runs, while Cutler, Koenig and Tim Huber each drove in runs. Bret Severtson struck out three batters, allowed two hits and one walk in 2.2 innings of relief.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas — From field days on the rugged plains near Highmore, South Dakota, junior Autun Fallis recently completed in the steeplechase at the 2024 National Junior Olympic track and field meet on July 22-28. Competing at Kyle Field, with a seating capacity of 82,000, Fallis competed in the 2,000-meter steeplechase, finishing 10th in the competition 8:12.75.
