Third Day Family Farms is struggling after the storm damaged the blooms and stems of many of their specialty cut flowers. They are also being forced to cancel events and tours of the farm because of the damage.
Crews recover 1 person, searching for 2nd after drowning in Sheyenne River
FORT RANSOM, N.D. (KFGO) – Ransom County Sheriff Darren Benneweis says two kayakers drowned after going over the Fort Ransom Dam on the Sheyenne river Sunday afternoon. A number of units responded to the call around 4 p.m., and one victim was recovered late yesterday. Efforts are underway today to recover the second victim.

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - One person was hurt after a shooting at a Fargo apartment complex early Tuesday morning. The Fargo Police Department says they were called to the 1700 block of Gold Dr. S. for a report of a shooting just before 1 a.m. on Tuesday, July 30.
Man arrested after Grand Forks standoff held without bail
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) - The man arrested after a SWAT standoff at a Grand Forks apartment building is being held without bail. Collin Posey, 32, was in court Monday on a number of state and federal charges. He’s accused of being involved in a criminal conspiracy to include distributing large amounts of fentanyl-laced pills and methamphetamine between Minneapolis and the Spirit Lake Reservation in North Dakota.

FARGO, N.D. (KFGO) – Fargo AirSho 2024 is now history. There were thousands of attendees for two days of the AirSho at Hector International Airport. The event included the return of the Navy’s Blue Angles. It also included daring pilots and powerful planes. AirSho Co-chairman Steve Blazek said the AirSho was “incredible” and they have never had that many people fill the airfield.
