    Celebrating 25 Years: Shepherd’s Center of Greenbrier Valley

    WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. (WVDN) — Shepherd’s Center of Greenbrier Valley (SCGV) is marking a quarter-century of service to the community this year. To kick off the festivities, the center invites the public to a picnic at Paisley Park in White Sulphur Springs on Sunday, June 23, from 1 to 3 p.m.

    The event will feature food, refreshments, and entertainment. Whether attendees are longtime supporters, new acquaintances, service recipients, or interested in learning more about SCGV’s mission, all are welcome to celebrate.

    SCGV, an interfaith ministry, aims to help mature adults live independently by offering opportunities for lifelong learning, community service, caring relationships, and spiritual growth.

    Later this year, SCGV will hold its official anniversary celebration on Tuesday, September 24, coupled with the annual Community Service Award presentation.
