    Nora Jane “Tootie” Martin

    Nora Jane “Tootie” Martin, 66, of White Sulphur Springs, passed away, Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Carilion New River Medical Center in Christiansburg, VA.

    Nora was born February 28, 1958, in White Sulphur Springs, to the late Donald Leonard and Doris Maybelle Campbell DePriest.

    Nora Jane was a member of the Redemption Center in White Sulphur Springs and a homemaker.

    Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Richter Bryan Martin; and sister, Rose Aleshire.

    Survivors include daughters, Deanna Kanode of Roanoke, VA, April Martin and Brittany Martin, both of White Sulphur Springs; several grandchildren; sister, Sandy Tolley and husband, Edward, of Lewisburg; brothers, Donald DePriest of White Sulphur Springs and Elvis DePriest of Roanoke, VA.

    A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the Grace Baptist Church in White Sulphur Springs with Pastor Kenneth Baker officiating.

    The family will receive family and friends from 12 p.m. until time of services at the church on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
