New brewpub opens in Lehigh Valley Mall

A prominent brewer, Newark, Delaware-based Iron Hill brewery, has opened a new brew pub at the Lehigh Valley Mall in Whitehall.

The craft kitchen and brewery at 950 Lehigh Lifestyle Center, is Iron Hill’s 13 th location in Pennsylvania and 21 st overall. It will employ more than 100 full-time and part-time staff.

The new brewery and restaurant has a seating capacity of up to 400 and features an on-site, glass-encased brewery and a variety of seating options, a large bar, cocktail area and patio.

“We’re thrilled to welcome guests from all over the Lehigh Valley and become a part of this vibrant community that shares a deep appreciation of local ingredients and craft beer,” said Chris Westcott, CEO of Iron Hill. “Opening at the Lehigh Valley Mall was a natural next step as we look to expand deeper into Pennsylvania’s suburbs.”

Westcott said a signature found within each restaurant is a mural that represents the local community.

The Lehigh Valley mural depicts Musikfest, Bethlehem Steel, SteelStacks, and the Moravian Star.

The on-site brewery is expected to produce between 800 and 900 barrels of Iron Hill’s award-winning beer annually.

The restaurant serves dishes specifically designed to pair with beer, utilize beer as an ingredient or even upcycle ingredients from the brewing process. Philly Cheesesteak Egg Rolls, Voodoo Chicken Pizza, Baby Back Ribs, and Drunk Monk Burgers are among the ben options.

Healthy and vegetarian menu options include dishes like the Left Coast Turkey Burger, Tuscan Vegetable Flatbread and Kennett Square Mushroom Soup

Hours of operation are 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily.
