Alcester woman convicted of Wire Fraud
An Alcester woman has been convicted of wire fraud. Fifty-seven-year-old Michelle Warner is sentenced to two years in federal prison and over $250,000 in restitution. The U.S. Attorney’s Office said Warner was an accountant, and later a business administrator, for Heartland Counseling Services and paid herself unauthorized payroll payments.

The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced the 2024 Volleyball Preseason Coaches’ Poll on Wednesday, morning August 21, 2024, which featured Black Hills State University voted 14th by the league’s coaches with 26 points.
