WVU hockey scheduled to play four games at South Charleston Memorial Ice Arena
SOUTH CHARLETON, W.Va. (WCHS) — The Mountaineers' 2024-25 hockey scheduled dropped Monday, showing multiple games scheduled at the South Charleston Memorial Ice Arena. WVU will visit Kanawha County four times this season. The DI team will host Alabama on Oct. 11 and 12 while the DII squad will battle Appalachian State on Feb. 7 and 8.

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - A complex of thunderstorms will be moving across southern Ohio and into West Virginia this morning. Thunderstorms will be more likely around Jackson County and towards the south for the morning commute, but rain chances will still be around towards the north. Our potential for showers and storms today will wane through the morning, but a few showers will still be possible around noon. When we enter the afternoon and evening, we will be looking at drier weather with a decrease in cloud cover. Expect the evening commute to be overall quiet across the Mid-Ohio Valley. However, it is still going to be quite humid.
