Man charged with attempted murder after stabbing in Mingo County, troopers say
MINGO COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — A man has been charged Tuesday with attempted murder in a stabbing investigation in Mingo County, troopers said. Aaron Mahon, 25, of Delbarton is accused of stabbing Kenneth Ooten, 33, of Delbarton during a physical altercation overnight, according to a news release from West Virginia State Police.

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - A complex of thunderstorms will be moving across southern Ohio and into West Virginia this morning. Thunderstorms will be more likely around Jackson County and towards the south for the morning commute, but rain chances will still be around towards the north. Our potential for showers and storms today will wane through the morning, but a few showers will still be possible around noon. When we enter the afternoon and evening, we will be looking at drier weather with a decrease in cloud cover. Expect the evening commute to be overall quiet across the Mid-Ohio Valley. However, it is still going to be quite humid.
