Fire engulfs Princess Seafood restaurant in Noyo Harbor
FORT BRAGG, CA — During the early morning hours on Wednesday, August 28, a fire engulfed the Princess Seafood Restaurant on the north end of Noyo Harbor on Harbor Drive. Lieutenant Clint Wyant of the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Department stated that their department was dispatched after 5:00 a.m. that morning after the Fort Bragg Fire Department responded to a fire alarm call at the restaurant. “When the Fire Department showed up, the building was fully engulfed. We saw surveillance footage that was captured inside and outside the building. On Tuesday afternoon, August 27, at 2:30 p.m., the camera showed that a small fire was smoldering in the kitchen, and it took off at 4:00 a.m. the next morning,” said Wyant. “The fire was completely accidental; there was no human involvement, and no one was there when it happened.”
