Buffalo County court sets sentencing for roofer who pled no contest to theft
Buffalo County, Neb. — A Kearney roofer charged in three different counties for failing to complete roof work he was paid for has taken a plea deal in one case. According to Buffalo County District Court records, Joshua Madsen, 42, pleaded no contest to one misdemeanor count of theft by deception - $501 to $1,499. In exchange for his plea, the charge was reduced from a felony count of theft by deception – more than $5,000.
