Teen arrested for arson after burning 2 Spartanburg County church vans, deputies say
SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. — Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office arrested a teenager in connection to the arson of two church vans. On July 4, around 5 a.m., deputies responded to Philadelphia Baptist Church in Pauline, South Carolina, regarding a 911 call about two Ford Transit church vans burning. The 911 caller told deputies they saw a suspicious person on the church's property and leave in a truck. The caller followed the suspect's truck to get a better description.
