Iowa Mobile ID is now available on Samsung Smart Wallet
Iowa Department of Transportation announced that the Iowa Mobile ID system will now be available on Samsung Smart Wallet on all Samsung Galaxy devices running Android 12.0 or above. "You can use your Iowa Mobile ID in Samsung Wallet at participating Travel Security Agency checkpoints including the Des Moines and Eastern Iowa airports," a DOT news release said. Wright County man sent to federal prison for gun crime
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – A Wright County man is going to federal prison for illegal gun possession. Michael Dean Hanus Jr., 45 of Clarion, pleaded guilty in federal court to possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. Hanus Jr. has a prior conviction of Interference with Official Acts – Dangerous Weapon, which banned him from possessing a firearm.
