(WHNT) — Each week, News 19 features furry friends looking for their fur-ever home, and this week we have three special pets in need of a new family.

First off is Trapper! This dapper young man is medium-sized and a bit shy. The staff over at the Greater Huntsville Humane Society (GHHS) say he enjoys going on walks and loves to play with his toys. They say he is great with dogs who are around his size and can match his energy.

GHHS said they aren’t completely sure about Trapper’s past and he is a bit hesitant around people. The staff said it takes a while for him to warm up but after some time and a few treats, he generally warms right up.

The shelter said Trapper needs someone willing to give that time and would work best in a house without cats or young children.

If you are interested in adopting Trapper you can find more information on GHHS’ website .

Next up is Kai who also comes to us from GHHS. Kai is a playful and independent boy who enjoys his toys and lounging in his bed. He loves to climb and explore.

GHHS said Kai would benefit from having another kitten or young cat with them in the home. They aren’t as sure about how he will work with dogs or children.

Now from Decatur Animal Services, we have Ragnar. He is a 4 year old box/pit mix who is in need of a loving home.
