Band rooted in Athens getting ‘back in the groove’ with new music

ATHENS, Ala. (WHNT) — Halo Stereo is an example of a band that, luckily for us, can’t get the music out of their system.  They’ve been together on and off for better than two decades.

Rooted squarely in north Alabama – Athens to be exact – they’ve been successful writing songs, and getting their music on television shows and movies.

Maybe the best compliment a music fan could give them is that they have an original spin on what we used to call AOR. Album Oriented Rock.

But Halo Stereo delivers a punch and original hooks that drive the music.

The best news lately for fans is that they are working on new music and are looking to make a return to the road.

We visited with them and found pretty much the nicest guys you will run into in a studio. We will keep you posted on Halo Stereo as the band continues to make new music.
