Student suspended after threat made to student at Scottsboro High School

SCOTTSBORO, Ala ( WHNT ) — Scottsboro City Schools (SCS) says a student has been suspended after a threat was made to another student at Scottsboro High School.

The school system said on Wednesday that it learned that a student made a threat to another student. The district said it took immediate action to ensure student safety.

The system said the Scottsboro Police Department (SPD) was informed and is assisting in handling the issue appropriately.

SCS said the student has been suspended pending an investigation by SPD and the school system.
