Huntsville Animal Services hosts ‘Adopt on the Spot’ pop-up event

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. ( WHNT ) — If you’re in the market for a new four-legged best friend, Huntsville Animal Services will host a pop-up adoption event on Saturday.

From 10 a.m. through 2 p.m. on August 31, Huntsville Animal Services will host ‘Adopt on the Spot.’ The event will be held at Petsense in Owens Cross Roads .

Whether you’re looking to adopt a cat or dog, this pop-up adoption event can help you find your new best friend.

To help ease the adoption process, Animal Services will accept cash or checks. Staff will assist with paperwork and answer questions about pet care and adoption procedures.

“Adopting a pet from Huntsville Animal Services provides a loving home for an animal in need,” Interim Director Virgie Graham said . “It also helps us continue our mission to care for and protect the animals of our community.
