Somerville Police Sergeant Aaron Anderson said on August 28, there was a wreck involving a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle reportedly lived nearby so he left the bike at the scene and walked home to call 911.

Sergeant Anderson said when the driver returned, the motorcycle was not at the scene.

On August 30, the department posted that Jacobs was named as the suspect and said he was “Somerville’s most wanted.”

On Sunday, Jacobs was reportedly found at a home on Shep Brown Road. Officers say Jacobs tried to run before he was arrested.
