    Drug investigation leads to man arrested on $1.5 million bond

    LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. ( WHNT ) — A man has been arrested after a search warrant led to a drug bust in Limestone County on Friday, August 30.

    According to the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) , the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team and Narcotics Unit along with assistance from the Athens Police Department executed a search warrant at the 18000 block of Edgewood Road in Athens.

    LCSO said that during the operation, around 31.13 grams of fentanyl and two pistols were seized from the home.

    LCSO told News 19 that Ronnie Baker was charged with drug trafficking and illegal possession of a pistol.

    Baker was arrested and is being held at the Limestone County Jail on a $1.5 million bond.
