The documents state that McCray used a semi-automatic AR-styled assault pistol in the shooting.

The Huntsville Police Department said one of the victims, now identified as Fletcher, died at the hospital. Huntsville City Schools confirmed to News 19 that Fletcher was a Mae Jemison High School student.

Major Crimes Unit investigators said the incident involved an ongoing disagreement between the teens that began before September 3.

Police say the shooting involved juveniles in two different cars on Max Luther Drive, west of Washington Street. Hours later, the suspect vehicle was found and two juvenile passengers were taken into custody to be interviewed.

McCray was charged with capital murder and the other was released.
