Woman hit by vehicle in Decatur, taken to hospital

DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) — A woman was injured when she was hit by a vehicle on Thursday night, according to police.

The Decatur Police Department said officers responded to a call stating a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in the 1900 block of Highway 20 around 11:15 p.m. on September 5.

When they arrived, police said officers located a woman with injuries and the driver of the vehicle remained on the scene.

DPD said the woman was taken to Huntsville Hospital for treatment.
