Florence Fire: Crews respond to house fire on Enterprise Street

FLORENCE, Ala. ( WHNT ) — The Florence Police Department said several crews are responding to a fire on Enterprise Street Monday.

Florence Fire Chief Tim Anerton said the initial call they received said someone was inside the home. After searching, first responders did not believe anyone was inside.

Chief Anerton said the home has heavy damage.

At 8:46 a.m., several first responding agencies are at a house fire on Enterprise Street.

The department said to avoid the area of Huntsville Road and Enterprise Street and Woodward Avenue and Enterprise Street.
