HUNTSVILLE, Ala. ( WHNT ) — Police say a second teenager charged in a deadly shooting on Max Luther Drive was arrested Monday as he got off a cruise ship.

According to the Huntsville Police Department (HPD), one juvenile died and two others were injured after a shooting that happened along Max Luther Drive on September 3.

The victim of that shooting was identified as Phillip Wayne Fletcher, 15.

Authorities said it is believed that individuals from another vehicle shot into a vehicle with three people inside.

HPD says that the second teen, a 15-year-old male was taken into custody by U.S. Customs and Border Protection in Cocoa Beach, Florida on Monday, Sept. 9 after leaving from a cruise ship.

The second teenager was also charged with two counts of assault, according to officials.

Torres McCray, 16, was initially charged with capital murder related to the shooting.
