Woman arrested for hiding motorcycle theft suspect

SOMERVILLE, Ala. ( WHNT ) — The Somerville Police Department (SPD) said a woman was arrested on Tuesday after hiding a man wanted for stealing a motorcycle.

SPD said 50-year-old April Davis of Hartselle was arrested for hindering prosecution after hiding 34-year-old Christian Tyler Jacobs inside her home. SPD said Davis knew Jacobs was wanted for a felony theft warrant.

Davis is the third person to be arrested in the theft case after 32-year-old Randall Lyn Maples was booked into the Morgan County Jail for first-degree theft and criminal conspiracy.
