    Man killed in head-on collision near Hartselle identified

    HARTSELLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Hartselle Police Department (HPD) says one person was killed in a head-on collision on Wednesday night.

    According to Morgan County Coroner Jeff Chunn, the man has been identified as Bryan Randolph, 60, of Hartselle.

    Chunn says that Randolph was taken to Decatur-Morgan Hospital where he later died.

    HPD said a pickup truck and a motorcycle collided head-on in the area of Indian Hills Road and Bethel Road in Hartselle.

    The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) said a person was thrown from a vehicle in the incident.

    Hartselle Police said Indian Hills Road was closed as of 6:53 p.m. Authorities asked that residents avoid the area as crews worked to clear the scene.
