Jack’s Game of the Week: Huntsville vs. James Clemens

MADISON, Ala. (WHNT) — When James Clemens and Huntsville High School met up Friday they were both looking to get off to their best starts in a while.

If James Clemens wins it would be their best start since 2021. A win would give Huntsville its best start since 2007.

Who’s coming out on top?

Scoreless in the first quarter, the Jets change that though as Ga’kobby Gill hands it off MJ Gideon, he will jog across the goal line untouched for the first six of the ballgame.

The Jets offense was back on the field but the rain was coming down and the ball got slippery as Huntsville jumped on top of a fumble to force the Clemens turnover.

It wouldn’t be the only turnover of the ballgame, this time the Panthers get the ball knocked looks and Reshaad Freeman falls on top of it.

Clemens is back on offense once again and Gill is back to pass, he launches it to AJ Little who hauls it in for a touchdown.

In the end, James Clemens comes out with the 32-7 win.
