    56-year-old woman with outstanding warrants arrested after leading deputies on chase

    MORGAN COUNTY, Ala. ( WHNT ) — A woman with outstanding warrants was arrested after leading deputies on a chase in Morgan County.

    According to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), deputies tried to pull a vehicle over on Highway 36. MCSO said that the vehicle did not stop and tried to lead deputies on a chase.

    According to MCSO, officers with the Priceville Police Department and Hartselle Police Department responded to the scene and disabled 3 of the 4 tires using spike strips.

    The vehicle continued until eventually coming to a stop in downtown Hartselle.

    MCSO identified the driver as Sandra Bailey, 56. Deputies said that Bailey has multiple outstanding warrants from another county, and was taken into custody.

    Bailey will also be charged with attempting to elude a police officer along with multiple traffic violations.

    She was booked into the Morgan County Jail on Monday morning around 1:08 a.m. on a $7,400 bond.

    Wow! sad, she knew she wasn't supposed to be behind the wheel and her license are suspended, and she knew she had warrants well she can't run now she gotta face those charges as well as the new ones. I'm glad nobody got hurt during this, and I hope she gets the help she needs. Glad no officers were injury doing this chase..
