    Huntsville Police, Parks & Recreation to host annual Halloween Party

    HUNTSVILLE, Ala. ( WHNT ) — The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) and Huntsville Parks & Recreation invite you to their free, third annual Halloween Party.

    According to HPD, the party will be held on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Orion Amphitheater.

    Children are encouraged to wear costumes, though wearing one is not required.

    Event organizers said over 20,000 guests attended the party in 2023 and are expecting an even bigger turnout this year.

    The event includes festivities such as a trunk-or-treat, bounce houses, family-friendly entertainment, carnival games and food trucks. Vendors who want to set up shop at the event can sign up here .

    In addition to these festivities, there will be a haunted house starting at 6 p.m. Free entry tickets to the haunted house are limited but can be found here .
