Nelson Primary School closed Tuesday due to broken water line

SCOTTSBORO, Ala. ( WHNT ) — A spokesperson for Scottsboro City Schools says Nelson Primary School will be closed to all students, faculty and staff on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

The spokesperson said the closure is caused by a break in the school’s main water line. The spokesperson said that the parents of Nelson students will receive additional information regarding assignments through the Parent Square portal.

All other schools within the district will open, and buses will run on a regular schedule.
