Overturned tractor-trailer causing delays on Hwy 20 in Decatur, driver injured

DECATUR, Ala. ( WHNT ) — The Decatur Police Department said the driver of an overturned vehicle is injured and the vehicle is causing traffic delays on Highway 20 Tuesday morning.

DPD said a tractor-trailer on Highway 20 was carrying steel when it overturned.

The vehicle overturned near Nichols Aluminum and the driver was taken to the hospital with injuries.

There is no word on the extent of their injuries at this time.

DPD said drivers can expect delays when traveling on the roadway this morning.
