Morgan County Sheriff’s Office to host basic firearms safety class

HARTSELLE, Ala. ( WHNT ) — The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office said it will host a firearm safety class on September 24.

On Tuesday, September 24 from 6-8 p.m., the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office will host a Basic Firearms Safety Class. The class will be in the Fellowship Hall at Hartselle First Baptist Church.

The department said the class will focus on safely handling your weapon, proper technique for shooting your weapon, getting familiar with your weapon and more.

Attendees will be able to sign up to attend a safety course at the Morgan County Sheriff’s firing range on September 28.

MCSO emphasized to , “NOT bring a gun or ammo to the class on Tuesday night. This is a classroom portion only.”
