    Man arrested after threat made against Montgomery VA Hospital

    MONTGOMERY, Ala. ( WIAT ) — A 61-year-old was arrested Wednesday after a threat was made against the Central Alabama Veterans Medical Center in Montgomery.

    According to ALEA, the threatening call came in around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday and sent the hospital into a temporary lockdown.

    Investigation led to the arrest of Michael Barnett, 61. Barnett was charged with Making Terroristic Threats and Rendering False Alarm to a Hospital. Barnett was booked into the Montgomery County Jail with an $18,000 bond. The lockdown at the CAVHCS has now been lifted.

    No further information is available as the investigation is ongoing.
