    Florence Police asking for help identifying man in credit card theft

    FLORENCE, Ala. ( WHNT ) — The Florence Police Department (FPD) is asking for the public’s help identifying a man as part of a credit card theft investigation.

    The department said the man is suspected of stealing a credit card and using the stolen credit card to make purchases.

    FPD said anyone with any information should contact Detective Butler at 256-760-6583 or text an anonymous tip to 274637 using the keyword FPDTIP. The department said residents can also leave a tip in a Facebook message or through the Florence Police app.
