    Coroner: One dead after motorcycle crash in Limestone County

    LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. ( WHNT ) — One person is dead following a motorcycle crash that happened in Limestone County on Saturday morning.

    According to Limestone County Coroner Mike West, the crash took place along Highway 31 just south of Laughmiller Road around 6:30 a.m. The Coroner identified the man as 45-year-old Marchas B. Williams of Athens.

    West told News 19 that the driver was heading northbound on Highway 31 when they lost control of the motorcycle around a curve and crashed into a median.

    The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is investigating the crash.
