    Early morning motorcycle crash leaves 63-year-old dead in Huntsville

    HUNTSVILLE, Ala. ( WHNT ) — An early morning motorcycle crash has left one man dead on Wednesday morning in Huntsville.

    According to Madison County Coroner Tyler Berryhill, the multi-vehicle crash took place along Winchester Road NW and Memorial Parkway NW around 6:29 a.m.

    Berryhill told News 19 that the crash involved an SUV and a motorcycle.

    The man on the motorcycle, later identified by the coroner as 63-year-old John Cooper of Toney, was pronounced dead on the scene.

    The crash remains under investigation by the Huntsville Police Department.
