    Construction underway for future Decatur-Morgan County Farmers Market

    DECATUR, Ala. ( WHNT ) — Construction of the future Decatur-Morgan County Farmers Market is underway and progressing.

    According to Morgan County Commission officials, beams went up on Thursday for the future site of the farmers market.

    Officials told News 19 that the market will be located along First Avenue NE and Second Street.

    According to officials, the farmers market could open as early as spring of 2025.
