Both championships will be the first NCAA national championships hosted in Huntsville.

The Huntsville Sports Commission said being selected as host will allow the city to showcase its ability to host large-scale sporting championships.

“This is an incredible opportunity for our city to shine as a destination for world-class competition,” said Huntsville Sports Commission Executive Director Mark Russell. ” We’re confident that our community, our course, and our hospitality will provide an outstanding experience for everyone involved.”
