    POLICE: Early morning crash on I-565 leaves one dead in Huntsville

    HUNTSVILLE, Ala. ( WHNT ) — An early morning crash has left one person dead on Friday morning in Huntsville.

    According to the Huntsville Police Department, the crash happened along I-565 and Research Park around 1:30 a.m.

    HPD said that the driver of the vehicle lost control and went off of the roadway.

    Huntsville Police told News 19 that the driver of the vehicle died.

    No other vehicles were involved in the crash, according to authorities.

    The investigation remains ongoing by the Huntsville Police Department.
