HUNTSVILLE, Ala. ( WHNT ) — A popular Birmingham restaurant known for its farm-to table menu, locally sourced ingredients, and sandwiches is heading to Huntsville.

Brick & Tin will occupy the existing historic hardware store space of the historic Lewter District project.

The 5,500-square-foot interior and exterior restaurant will accommodate 70 people inside and 46 people outside.

The new restaurant will feature the same menu as its Birmingham location. The look of the building will display a ‘beachy’ atmosphere with a light palette, open spaces, and a “seamless transition” from interior to exterior dining.

“With all the growth and new construction happening in Huntsville, it was a challenge to find a historic space in a good location that also provided everything we require for Brick & Tin,” said Owner Mauricio Papapietro. “Checking all of our boxes, while also being in a beautiful, historic building with a deep history in the historic town center, makes this the perfect location.”

Officials said that construction is set to begin in early part of 2025.
