Waterloo man killed in single-vehicle wreck on Highway 20

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. ( WHNT ) — The Lauderdale County Sheriff said a man is dead following a single-vehicle wreck on Highway 20.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said 62-year-old Jesse A. Fowler from Waterloo was killed when he hit a ditch and his car overturned.

ALEA said the accident happened around 4:50 p.m. Tuesday.

Fowler was pronounced dead on the scene.

Lauderdale County Sheriff Joe Hamilton told News 19 Tuesday that a single-vehicle wreck on Highway 20 near County Road 8 killed one person.

Sheriff Hamilton said the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency will continue to investigate this incident.
