    Honor Flight takes dozens of Iowa veterans to national war memorials

    WASHINGTON, DC — Dozens of Iowa veterans are finally visiting the monuments built in honor of the sacrifices made by them and their brothers in arm. The Bushy Creek Honor flight left from Fort Dodge on Tuesday morning to take the men to Washington, D.C. and the war memorials that line the National Mall.

    Roger Riley is traveling with the veterans and is posting stories along the way.

    Veterans visited the Korean War Memorial in Washington, D.C.

    After visiting the Korean War Memorial, veterans got to visit the Vietnam Veterans Memorial.
