The Iowa football team edged a Big Ten newcomer for the final spot in the US LBM Coaches poll announced Monday.

Washington, which finished at No. 2 in the final poll of 2023, fell out of the poll while the formerly No. 21 Hawkeyes hung on, dropping just four spots to land at No. 25.
