    Football Friday Primetime Coaches Corner: Perry vs. Hoover

    DES MOINES, IOWA — The Football Friday Primetime season is kicking off a day early in 2024. WHO 13 is proud to bring you Thursday night football on August 29th as the Perry Blue Jays face the Hoover Huskies at Mediacom Stadium on the Drake University campus.

    The game will be the first for the Perry Blue Jays since their former principal, Dan Marburger, was shot-and-killed by an armed student inside the high school in January. Thursday’s game will be carried live on channel 13.4 and Mediacom channel 115 as well as streaming live at www.who13.com.

    On Wednesday, August 28th, WHO 13’s Keith Murphy and Justin Surrency welcomed Hoover head coach Theo Evans and senior lineman Tahj Williams and Perry head coach Josh Vannornam and quarterback Gerren Kenney, sophomore Ian Fisher and receiver Eric Lagos into the Coaches Corner to preview Thursday night’s primetime matchup.
